bloodsong julyMy July pick of the month:

This last month was huge for releases.  One of the biggest sleepers was Blood Song by Cat Adams.  Cat is actually CT Adams and Cathy Clamp co-writing.

Blood Song is an amazing story of Celia.  A Bodyguard and  after an assignment goes horribly wrong, an Abomination.  Now just about everyone wants to kill her.  She has to work with a group of close friends, some dead and some alive to solve the mystery of who is willing to risk everything to see she dies so that a plot cannot be uncovered.

And this is only book 1 in the series, with Blood Siren releasing in August......

This book makes my Best List for the first half of 2010!!

RRP $26.95

Blood Song released 8 June 2010.

This month:

We are seeing some really big releases.  First up is the latest MaryJanice Davidson with Undead and Unfinished – the latest in her Betsy Taylor Vampire Queen Series.

Nora Roberts latest release is The Search a Romantic Suspense to make your skin crawl.

Like Romantic Suspense and Paranormal Books – why not try Cold Sight by Leslie Parrish

Continuing 2 hugely popular series, we also have Christina Dodd with Chains of Ice and Nalini Singh with Bonds of Justice.

Young Adults aren’t forgotten with Rise of the Poison Moon – the latest Jennifer Scales book by MaryJanice Davidson and Anthony Alongi.

Stephanie Laurens has released The Brazen Bride number three in the Black Cobra Series.

For Sci Fi Buffs, try out the latest Todd MacCaffrey (son of Anne MacCaffrey) Dragon Girl....it is an amazing series based on the fictional planet of Pern.

Last but not least, I’ll Be Slaying You by Cynthia Eden – follow the adventures of Dee – human (or is she?) and Simon.

And now for something completely different:

In the next few months, there is an amazing array of authors releasing great books, and with the growth of sites offering the latest releases, it can be confusing.  But for Aussie buyers, there are a few companies that are growing on the internet offering books for sale – that they just don’t have in stock.  And we don’t mean Pre Orders.  We have come across a number of buyers who feel the need to check that we carry the books that we advertise on our site, unlike others who are offering a 14 day shipping deadline.
